We had a wonderful stay in the Red Maple self catering lodges at Forest Hills. The lodges were very spacious, clean and well equipped. The decor was cosy and quaint with a nostalgic feel. Beds were comfy and the view was stunning. …

We did not stay in the hotel. We did, however, use the gym, the pool, and the hot tub. We also used the spa facilities for a massage. This place is amazing, and we utilize it frequently. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff are professional and are always smiling. The staff are a great resource for the area. It sits on Loch Ard with absolutely amazing views. We have also taken advantage of the restaurant. The food was amazing as well as the staff. Once again, the views overlooking the Loch are spectacular! I would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel in stunning countryside. We had a deluxe king room, which had great views of the loch, and the well kept grounds, plus we had a balcony with table and chairs. Room was well appointed and comfy. …

10/10 hotel!!Room was huge and well decorated. Very clean and smelled like a spa!! Wool pillows and quilts in the room! Views were amazing. Approachable, welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely surrounding area and relaxed but luxurious atmosphere. The entire hotel was very clean with beautiful decor. Having been disappointed by a Macdonalds hotel in the past (Windermere) I have to say Forest Hill’s Hotel has changed my opinion massively. I’m confused by any negative reviews as I can’t fault this hotel in any way. 100% recommend choosing to stay here

What a beautiful hotel, views are stunning, grounds are gorgeous, rooms all very clean and modern, service is impeccable, food and drinks was great (although quite pricey) and facilities were just amazing, swimming sauna, jacuzzi, massages, they have tons of sports to play, tennis courts, basketball, ping pong, badminton, list goes on! The only complaint I would have is noise from above from other rooms and beds weren't the most comfortable so none of us got much sleep sadly! I would still highly recommend this hotel! Super handy too as we booked to go canoeing and it was right across the street from the adventure place!

We did a spa day here, so we didn't stay overnight. The treatments were wonderful with very attentive staff. The afternoon tea in the restaurant with wonderful Loch views was also fantastic. I was a little disappointed with the "wet side" facilities..... pool, tiny, tiny jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna with a few loungers. The outlook was the car park, and there was no outside space or seating. It was easily too busy with just 4 spa day couples along with hotel residents. It lacked a luxury feel about it. The location is stunning 😍
