Location great, but our room got unallocated before we arrived, this meant when i arrived at almost midnight we didn't have a room ready for us. Guy at desk was helpful and got us another room to stay in but it was not ready. Had to make our own beds as no other staff at the time of night. No coffee facilities in our room even though there where supposed to be. Guy on reception did offer us hot drinks on the first night but it was too late and we just wanted to sleep. Second day when we came to reception to see if there was anything they could do for our troubles we got nothing from the girl at service desk who was just generally unpolite. Had to ask multiple times for coffee facilities to be provided to our room. These finally arrived but once again too late for us to actually make use of on the second day as we had to be out again. Also only gave us two cups for three people. Room was extremely dusty to the point we where coughing all night generally felt unhealthy and we had to ask for someone to please come in and hoover/dust our room. Really cant believe we got nothing in terms of extra hospitality for all the troubles we had to go with with our room/stay

Private room is fine, it is tiny, but that is expected in the city for this price. You don't really have room to sit around. Could do with a few more furniture like a night stand would be nice. Mattress is kinda thin but not a big deal. No microwave in the entire hostel. 3 pounds to store you luggage. Would recommend if you are on a tight budget, but expect to sacrifice some comfort.

You get what you pay for. If you’re only spending a night and on a budget, go for it. If you’re doing several nights, look elsewhere. It didn’t have that hostel feel, no activities/games, no events, no kitchen I could find, let alone a water fountain. It very much felt like a place to get in and out of. The beds were clean but the rooms were cramped, definitely bring earplugs! At the very least, it’s nestled between both ends of the city, so you won’t be far from anything.

Would not recommend. Beds are uncomfortable, the soap in the bathrooms aren't refilled, and there are no hostel vibes.Good points were the location and the staff were fairly kind. Only stay here for a short time but if you can afford better I would find another place.

Wonderful staff. A very friendly and vibrant environment. A really nice hoste. This one exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay, slept very well and very comfortable beds. No disturbance which was really nice given the city centre and heritage nature of the building and overall have absolutely no complaints. Will definitely stay again. So we had no issues for the staff to deal with but any interaction was super friendly and really nice. And when we did need help they helped us out. No problem at all.Super.

My first ever hostel stay, and had a great time. Staff were attentive, helpful, and polite. Room was clean enough for me. Another of our party found crumbs somewhere, not sure where. Did not use the lockers as we had a 6 bed(3 bunk) room to ourselves. Washroom in our room was fine, only used the sink. Locate was great too, and would stay again.

Stayed in family room. Location is excellent, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Room was good and clean, decent wifi, TV, but the bed was uncomfortable. Had to take showers in the morning as there was no hot water in the evening (both nights I stayed there).Overall, good value for money.

Probably one of the best hostels I've been to. The rooms are very clean and each room has it's own bathroom which is a huge plus for a hostel. The service is good and the receptioner was very polite. The location is also amazing with a lot of cheap places to go out and eat at, a supermarket and it's quite close to the town center.

Wanted a cheap place to stay in Glasgow, and this hostel seemed to be the best option near attractions and public transit. The beds were very clean, comfy, and spacious, with a reading light and small shelf for charging phones. The room somehow fit 10 or so beds without feeling crammed, as the high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows allowed for plenty of ventilation, air flow, and natural light. The lockers were incredibly small and didn't end up getting used. The one major flaw was that the bathroom was a bit of a mess - the shower handle mount had been broken so you had to hold the shower head, so water was everywhere from many people using it. Otherwise, generally clean and impressive for a hostel.

Just fine (except the bedbugs)! we rented a room for 8 people with friends. Breakfast is in the basement, it gets hot quickly (seats for 10 people). The room key card usually had to be reset again, sometimes it felt like it was a one-time use key.Bed bugs were found in our room, the staff changed our sheets, but of course that didn't completely solve the problem, but it was the only thing they could do for the situation. I couldn't get rid of them, it was an expensive and difficult souvenir.
