We had a great long weekend stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Good size room with powerful shower. Staff very accommodating and bags were looked after in reception before and after booking in. …

Lovely room, recently renovated (you could still smell the paint). The view was not great, but the hotel is undergoing renovations, so it's to be expected. Everything was very clean and tidy, though. The staff is super kind!

Fantastic service and very friendly & helpful staff! The hotel is located in a very lively and nice area of Glasgow (bus stop, great pubs, restaurants, shops, museums and the park nearby). However, the house is in a quiet street, so no worries over a good nights sleep. The (bath)room has seen better days, but you get very good value for your money still. We had a lovely stay! Thank you Anthony & colleagues!

Helpful & interested staff. Our large room was on the ground floor (although the bed was just a double) and had a new bathroom. Parking was nearby in a covered car park but was cash only (there was an ATM nearby). …

The Sandyford Lodge was a perfect location for visiting someone at the University of Glasgow--great restaurants and pubs nearby and on the main bus line.  …

Stayed for one night, can't comment on any other rooms as never seen anyone else to speak to but we were in a basement room and walking in your eyes are immediately drawn to damp on the wall, further inspection showed windows that hadn't …

Sandyford Lodge was perfect for our trip to Glasgow. Anthony the owner made us feel really welcome. He was very friendly and had lots of recommendations for restaurants and local bars. Great location! The walk to the Ovo Hydro was 15 minutes. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed here visiting Glasgow for a concert. Reasonably priced we were disappointed to be shown our room in the basement. Musty smell on entering we found damp and mould on one of the walls. On inspection looking through the window we found a overgrown weedy area out the back which if tidied up would be a asset to the building. On return from the concert we hastily made our way to bed armed with a extra cover provided by the nice fella working the graveyard shift. On waking after a quick shower I proceeded to get dressed for breakfast only to find out the radiator had leaked onto my only pair of jeans and totally soaked the legs. I was left with no choice but to wear them we made our way to reception and report it. The same fella was apologetic and didn't charge us for one of the breakfasts which itself was lovely served at the nearby hotel of the same name. Would I stay again yes but certainly not in room 1
