The hotel has nothing to do with the sport "golf", but offers a spectacular view at the ocean. It invites to relaxing, easy going, strolling, sport activities. …

Hotel lovely. We had a seaview. Pool great, not busy when we were there. Meals lovely, but service slow. Due to Staff. The staff kept apologising for the long wait to be served. First night, our booking was 8.30 finished at 10. 30 a nightmare. They need to get more staff and a supervisor over seeing the problems. The chef was a trainee, felt sorry for him, as he had to take the brunt. Quite a few people complained. L Parry

Excellent 2-night Gourmet stay at the Golf View Hotel in Nairn which was very good value for money. The hotel location, overlooking the Moray Firth, is superb as are the leisure facilities. …

Superb experience on the Spa Break with my good friend-a first timer to the hotel. Our room was sea facing and well equipped, the bathroom a particular pleasure with grey slate flooring and a deluxe shower. …

We really enjoyed our stay at the Golf View, the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the pool. We had heard from friends that management of provisions could be a challenge and so it proved to be, however forewarned is forearmed and this merely added to the entertainment. A restaurant running out of ketchup was definitely a new experience for us.There were a few other responses that ranked well on the Fawlty-ometer, but we won't spoil them for you!The pool is superb, with a top range of spa facilities, although as changing room is very compact we used our room.We hope to come back soon, maybe next time we will see a manager putting the cherry on the cake!

Just returned from a night away. 3 friends and I enjoyed the lovely 'Girls Night In' Spa package. Highly recommend this fantastic deal.Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We very much enjoying the spa facilities and our treatments.Staff were friendly and helpful. The spa gift bag in room and the complimentary snacks go a long way to make your stay that little extra special.Such a stunning view from the spa and restaurant, even if we didn't get the weather. Before checking out we enjoyed a lovely breakfast before taking a short walk along the beach.Hope to be back in the very near future.

We were here for use of the spa facilities and dinner only. I am a member of Coast. The Spa facilities are good, nice sized pool, good steam room and sauna. Lots of comfy seats and water and herbal teas to help yourself too which is a really nice touch. It’s lovely to sit and relax with a book after a steam etc by the pool side. The outdoor hot tub is great, beautiful views. I would say both hot tubs aren’t particularly hot, they aren’t much warmer than the pool which is a bit disappointing. I’ve eaten at the hotel 3 times. The bar menu every time as the restaurant is very expensive and what I would consider a splurge. The food is good enough, not amazing but tasty all the same. Mid price, a bit overpriced for what it is. This time the service was a good, quick and attentive. The 2 times before it has friendly but had been painfully slowly even when fairly empty. I’m talking 20mins till even drinks come out and then another 40mins wait for your dinner which when it’s something as simple as a burger or pizza shouldn’t happen but the team are friendly and very young. Like I said this seems to have been ironed out. Seems to be a fair big staff turnover so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just lack of experience last time. I’ve had friends stay at the hotel, it’s dog friendly which is nice. Big comfy luxurious beds, quiet and good bathrooms so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. A few little tweaks and it would be wonderful. The view looks on to the infamous Nairn beach which is beautiful - particularly from the outdoor hot tub at sunset. Very romantic.

Went in for afternoon tea and was not disappointed. Staff very friendly and tentative and ensured that dietary requirements were met. Assortment of cakes, sandwiches and scones were absolutely exquisite. Would recommend to others to go and would be in again in the future.
