I was tired and hangry, so popped in here for a Sunday lunch. Sat outside where it was quiet and we could enjoy the sun. It's more meals than sandwiches, so my hubby had a burger, and I went for the steak and ale pie with a side of veg. …

Popped in as I was tired and hangry and needed refuelling. I was not disappointed. My hubby had been before and raved about it, but this was my first time. Was a bonny day so we sat outside. He got a burger and I had the steak and ale pie. Beautiful food, really hearty grub. Excellent value for money. The location is great, place is immaculate and the staff are welcoming and chatty. Highly recommend 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿♥️

Lovely Hotel.. Clean and tidy and staff very friendly. Had the budget double room and was pleased with it. Plenty hangers for clothes and room in bedside cabinets for other items. Food was very good and had an enjoyable evening playing Rock and Roll Bingo. Would definitely return if back in area. Thanks

We ate here, and had a great experience. Wonderful cider and whisky, and great meals. My husband said this was the best fish and chips he has ever had, and that's saying something! I had the sweet chili chicken, and it was wonderful. …

Stayed in Auldearn for three nights. The 1645 Inn is the only place to eat locally with food served between 5pm-7pm (or 8pm please ask). Limited menu but some good choices. I had the traditional homemade pie and my partner had the fish and chips. Very enjoyable and filling. Good bottle of red wine to accompany the food. Limited beers unfortunately if you like real ale. Staff very friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere with quiet music in background.

This is my second time in a matter of a few weeks staying at the 1645 Inn. Was so impressed the first time I stayed that I decided to go back. The rooms were nice and clean, the food, brilliant every time and the staff were excellent. Staying away for work can be boring but Doreen and Morven were extremely friendly and chatted away making me feel right at home. They are both a credit to the hotel.

Staff were absolutely lovely, beautiful area and amazing breakfast! Although one problem we found was that the person in the room before us had went onto the Netflix app and changed the names to say something very inappropriate and then leaving a phone number at the end, me and my friends found this extremely inappropriate, and our room had 2 holes in the wall, but apart from that we had no issues!

Called unbooked. Made extremely welcome by bar staff. Very reasonably priced. £40 for two, 2course meals plus drinks. Couldn't fault service. My wife considered the curry to be the best she had ever eaten in a restaurant and I have never had a more enjoyable starter then the Haggis Wedge. Two superb items from the standard menu
