Very pleasant staff and an ideal location in Fort William. The hallways and stairs as well as the rooms are a tad dated but at the end of the day I’m there to sleep. Comfy single bed and a nice little bathroom

The hotel is a bit tired looking, but as long as you understand that you won’t be disappointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very good. If you have a motor bike it’s great as you can park just outside reception. Can’t comment on evening meal but having an Indian restaurant downstairs is handy

So part of the problem had to do with expectations. The expectation that when you've got a big flight of stairs, you'd have either a lift or a handy bellman. No. And I had a HUGE suitcase.  …

We called for food by the off chance after attending the boat cruise on the Loch, it seemed very quiet for 1800 which we were concerned about but the service was great and we couldn't fault the food. As we were leaving a coach full came in to check in. We ordered the calzone, pizza and the children's pasta ( great portion for children)
