Our group of 13 was looking for a breakfast spot with a wide variety of choices and seating and we happened upon Kings Highway. You order on the app and food is delivered to your table. …

I have a hard time rating the Hotel as it really depends what you’re looking for. The room is small and the beds smaller (but comfortable). We made due because the price was good. Location is central to many bars which if that’s you’re thing you can join in from the comfort of your room since the windows block no sound. Luckily, my Loop earbuds blocked a lot of the sound and we could sleep. If you need ear plugs, invest in those they are fantastic. If you want something quiet, don’t stay here. The bathrooms were renovated and clean, but the floors were not clean and I had to ask them to clean our room after we got there. Staff insisted they did, but there were crumbs on the floors that said otherwise. But they were quick to clean and were very friendly. Pretty sure the place is also haunted. Things moved around that didn’t make sense. Again, if that’s your thing…enjoy!

The stay was adequate just some things you would generally expect with hotels were a little lacking. Location was great for train station, shops, bars, restaurants. Room size was fine, amenities fine. …

Our second time Herr and I wish I'd have listened to my gut the first time and not returned. When my kids struggle to eat something I know it's bad! However we chose to give it another try as the staff were nice. My steak was so over cooked and when I spoke to a staff member he just said yeah sorry and walked away. Flipping hell. I just wanted some good food that didn't cost a bomb. Do not recommend at all.

Stopped for breakfast, quite a few tables were closed off but the restaurant was clean and tidy. Toilets were also very clean. Food was nice and was ready quickly.

This was a great location, comfy quiet rooms, we enjoyed our stay. The Elevator not working so had to carry luggage up a few flights if upstairs (thinking that’s a common occurrence). …

Four stars given purely because bed was so nice; massive and extremely comfortable. Rest of the room was well-equipped - hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bottled water, hot drinks and biscuits daily.  …

Ummm genuinely the cheapest prices I think I’ve found in the whole of the UK. Food was worth what you pay but would absolutely return. Sincerely, a very broke and very thankful backpacker <3
