Nice place with a very nice beer garden. Staff were great, though I find table service in a bar in Scotland a bit odd. Good choice of beers, albeit quite expensive (maybe that's the NC500 effect). We only ate there once. Food was quite good but nothing special and a little on the pricey side, but on a par with prices in nearby Tain. Dogs are not allowed inside, which meant we only visited a couple of times.

My sister and I absolutely loved the location and the lovely staff. We enjoyed the food, the views and Mike a friendly, funny and welcoming man he made us laugh, he is an excellent host and enjoyable company. The staff were attentive and the accommodation clean and well maintained. There are plenty of places to travel to enjoy the truly scenic views and various activities. I would definitely return to this inn if the opportunity is ever available.

We stayed here as a pub stop in our motorhome. There are no facilities but would not expect that at a pub stop. We had dinner in the pub. One beef bourguignon and one venison stew. Both our meals were delicious.|The staff were all very friendly. |We would definitely recommend this pub, it's food and motorhome stop. 😊😊

In Balintore for a week self catering cottage. Lovely little coastal village. This Inn has a captive audience as no local competition. Not tried the food but reading the reviews it seems good. …

Even though the Balintore Inn is the only pub in thr area, this pub was a pleasant enough place for us to have food and drinks.||The biggest negative is that dogs are not allowed inside. …
