If you want to have a very good dinner with expertly cooked food, you should definitely visit. The menu changes every day, so it is a little surprise what you'll get. When we visited there was a vegetarian option for every course. Also the chocolate cake is to die for, so the best thing to do is visit for a cup of tea in the afternoon and reserve a table for dinner. The food is truly amazing - don't miss the opportunity!

I showed up cold & soaking wet at the end of a long day on the bike and they took me as I was.The staff were friendly & courteous but the food was better. All meals are freshly cooked based on what becomes available locally. Tasty and I didn't go hungry. Would recommend.

While I understand this is an accommodation, not a hotel, there were several concerning issues during my stay. The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards—the room wasn’t just dirty, it was filthy, with trash left behind from previous guests. Additionally, there was no lock on the room door because a previous guest had taken it, leaving us to use a knife to get back in. The toilet was dirty, and contrary to what is advertised, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms; it’s only available in the dining area, which felt misleading. The only positive aspect was the availability of a laundry machine. However, it seems they are either severely understaffed or possibly have no staff on-site. Be sure to bring your own towel, as the one provided was extremely dirty.Overall, I would not recommend staying here—it’s simply not worth it.

Such a cosy little place. We stopped for coffee and lunch, this is not the place you get a quick lunch. It's relaxed and everything is cooked fresh to order one table at a time. Run by such a sweet couple, it was so quiet all we could hear was the birds.

We visited for lunch enroute to the Corran Ferry. Its definitely a hidden gem. The soup and toastie were great and well priced. The cafe/bar is fully of character and interest, however it's looking tired and needs a good clean (cobwebs and windows). Finally, we enjoyed the quiet, calm atmosphere, no need for background music in such a natural location. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Middle of nowhere on a wet Sunday Late October afternoon and much to my surprise the cafe was open and very friendly. Top job.

Very rude elderly lady. I asked if she had syrups for coffee, and she began to wave her arms at me and shouted, "Go to Fort William for Costa." Then she followed me back outside and said,"So you don't want a coffee?"

Great people, great food and great atmosphere! Rooms, and especially the showers need some work, but no real problems.
