Fantastic place to stay in Portree! Our room was in good condition, and being on the top floor gave us stunning views of the ocean. The on-site restaurant was incredibly convenient, offering great options for both breakfast and dinner. We also enjoyed the cozy bar, where we had the chance to meet some great people. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Terrible.I ate in the restaurant but need to let anyone thinking of coming here that personally I was picked on by the staff, and hurried out of the place almost quicker than I knew it. The meal itself was inexpensive but average.In the bar later (because other pubs were packed), it was rough. I can and should say no more.Portree is a busy place, but if you're having food or drink there, make this your last resort.

The goat cheese salad and burger were really good. the sticky toffee and apple crumble were delicious. We recommend this restaurant over antlers bar/the portree hotel restaurant. The food and desserts were better and overall priced lower. They don’t include a service charge and the credit card machine doesn’t give you the option to add it or a tip. Wish it would because the staff worked hard and were friendly.If you are a guest, you get preferred seating at the restaurant and breakfast is included.The room is basic. A small bed for two, and a small bathroom. No A/C, no hair dryer, UK only electrical outlets. The bar was crowded with live music but the noise didn’t travel. Our tour bus mates were above the bar and they didn’t sleep well because of the noise and hallway door.The location is perfect; 2 min walk to everything in the center. I would take the location over a bigger room at B&B.

A clean, basic hotel room in the heart of the town! Which includes a hot breakfast! Newer bathroom/shower, towels seemed nice, too. There is no parking, but the town long-term lot is two blocks away and cost 4 pounds for 18 hours. I didn't notice a lift, so we carried our luggage up one flight of stairs. I'd stay there again!

This is a decent hotel in an amazing location. The staff is helpful and courteous. The free breakfast is a great way to start the day. We ate here during peak season for dinner and I would definitely advise you make reservations as there is a long wait.

Went here for dinner.Food was good, decent pub grub.Nice bar with good beers.Bit of a disconnect with service between the bar and restaurant as we were with dogs so ate in the bar.Could do without hearing staff arguing and bickering, keep that out of the public ear please.

You pay for location, that's all. Rooms are clean and neat, breakfast okay for 1-2 n stay. Rest is location cost customers pay for. People are nice and kind and they do the best they can given what it is. Overall not a bad stay.
