I needed a pit stop ready for a major house move - after driving for 5 hours it was a much needed rest before the move. I arrived late and the check in was quick and efficient. Very friendly. …

Perfectly good Premier Inn. We literally used it as a place to shower and sleep while visiting Brighton (about 20 minutes drive) so really didn't see much of it. But the bed was comfy, aircon worked, TV worked, shower worked. Which is all we wanted.

As expected the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was average as expected. The tables in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast were very sticky, I had to ask for plates which were dirty. The staff were very helpful though so just those few things a bit off putting.

Sadly the temperature control in our room didn't work and slowly the room got hotter over our 3 night stay resulting in minimal sleep - hotel staff tried their best but to no avail - we wee unable to switch rooms due to them being full.Hotel staff encouraged us to write to Guest Relations following our stay and that our stay did not meet their 'good sleep guarantee'. Our concerns were utterly dismissed despite the hotel staff also logging the concerns from their side and made me feel that they actually just don't care if you have a problem during your stay with them. I followed up with them and was actively dismissed again despite evidencing that our concerns were legitimate. I have been appalled at the customer service/guest relations interactions and would not use premier inn willingly again.
