Very impressed with this hotel. Booked for two nights whilst visiting friends in Barry. Firstly the overall appearance is very welcoming, beautiful decor and extremely welcoming staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The twin room was clean and comfortable. Kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided and plenty of towels. The bedding and towels were also changed after the first night. We didn’t experience any noise or disruption being close to the airport and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The dining room/bar was very well equipped, once again with lovely decor. We didn’t have an evening meal as we were out with our friends but I’m guessing it would be good as the breakfast was beautifully cooked. The cost for two nights was very reasonable and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. We shall definitely go back when we visit Barry again.

Lovely people on reception and room service came round and asked us if we needed anything. We didn't eat there as we were there to spend time with family who live nearby but the breakfast spread looked very nice and we overheard people saying their dinner was good. Our room was a standard room and we had a large comfortable bed and a sofa. We'll definitely be staying here again.

The service and friendliness of the staff is very very good and the food is the best I've ever had at an airport hotel restaurant. I'd highly recommend going there just for the meals.However, although the rooms are extremely clean, they're typically basic, sparse and cold - lacking any niceties like shelves in the shower or bathroom.Special mention for Janet (Reception) John (Chef) and Isaac (Barman). Thank you!!

It's a pretty basic hotel but it's very close to Cardiff airport, a taxi to the airport is £7. Not a great deal of parking so not sure what happens if the car park is full. They serve cooked meals and English breakfast but we didn't try so can't comment on that

Nice place although is a bit outdated, staff are very welcoming , reception and dining seem very tidy, you get great views of the airport and get to see the airplanes which is an extra point considering this hotel is the closest to the airport which makes it great for early flights, the only downside is the beds, you don't get good sleep at all. We only got given 1 pillow and it wasn't very good. Overall, nice place and would stay again if needed, thank you for your service.

We chose this hotel because of location because we had a morning flight from CWL. We had a little anxiety about staying in a one off with nowhere else to eat but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service in the restaurant.Staff was friendly at check in, restaurant, and check out.Many times of year this will not matter yet for our October stay we loved that we could open windows for fresh air.
