Myself and my partner booked a last minute trip to Edinburgh as our previous holiday plans fell through rather unexpectedly, and it did not disappoint, and was made all the more lovely by the wonderful James and Dora. …

his place was great! It was just what I needed on my trip. I was traveling solo and was struggling a little bit. Their kindness came at a perfect time for me. One of the nights during my stay I ended up having a very lengthy conversation with both Dora and James that was wonderful. The location is great. The bus stop is right outside the door and you can be in the city center in about 10-15 minutes. The homemade breakfast was great! I will recommend this place to anyone I know visiting Edinburgh and will stay here when I visit in the future!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Crioch B&B with Dora and James and it lacked nothing. You can really feel at home in their beautiful Victorian house. The single room - with a very comfortable bed - is very lovingly designed, top clean and well equipped. The homemade breakfast not only offers a great choice, but is also very tasty. Right outside the front door, two buses take you to the city in about 12 minutes, and you can easily get back at night with the night bus. Last but not least, the two of them are very likeable people who made it possible for me to have a great time with their open and helpful nature. Hope to see you soon, Dora and James

Home away from home!! This is such a nice cosy place in Edinburgh where you can have a very comfortable stay. James, the owner is a sweetheart and I would like to thank him for all the help and suggestions he has provided during my time in Edinburgh. The place is situated in the new part of the city which is easily connected via public transport. The best part is that the bus stop is just outside the property which makes it very easily accessible. They serve amazing breakfast too. I’m definitely coming back here!! I

I loved my stay at James&Dora's house. The room was super clean, had all facilities needed and the house is located in a very peaceful and quiet area with great connection to the city centre. I loved the room and all details as this is the style I like - elegant and old-school in a positive way. James and Dora are lovely, kind and helpful people and do their best to make you feel like at home. I strongly reccommend the stay here and if I am in Edinburgh next time, I will definitely book my stay at James&Dora's. I wish all the best to the owners as they are doing a great job! :-)
