I stayed here for three nights. The reception staff were friendly and are happy to answer any questions. The bus schedules are on display in reception and that was so helpful. The bus stop is directly outside which was convenient. …

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a night back in June (14th). We have previously stayed at The Village in Glasgow which was very good, so we had no hesitation to plump for the Edinburgh hotel, expecting much the same experience. …

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful! We were in an Upperdeck Room - spacious, with a king bed. The hotel had only one lift but was ample to handle the guests. Two complaints of the room - the bathtub was deep (which is nice for bubble baths!) which made it very difficult to get in and out of…kind of dangerous really; the other was the inconsistency of receiving hand towels. Some days we’d get two others just one!The hotel has a lovely pub to eat in and buffet breakfast (extra fee). Food was delicious! Hotel also has gym facilities and a pool which we made use of). Starbucks is also on the premises. Parking also available (for a fee).Definitely a place I’d stay at again.

We stayed for 2 nights in a double double room . Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff . Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. This review is mainly for the bar and grill . The staff were amazing. Especially William at breakfast . He went above and beyond making sure we were always looked after .Met us with a friendly smile and was so enthusiastic every morning he is a real credit to the village . George In The bar and grill was exactly the same on our evening meal . Nothing was too much trouble, the food and service was 5 star .We used the gym and leisure each day . The gym was well equipped and the RPM class on Saturday morning 9 am was great .We couldn't fault our stay on any aspect . We can't wait to stay again .

Lovely hotel just outside the city centre a short bus ride takes you in to the heart of the city. Ample parking the hotel has amazing spa and gym facilities residents pay £5 per person and you can use everything. We are in the restaurant both night we stayed and the food was very good. The Village has a great vibe.

The M&E Team were awesome. They happily obliged any request and went above and beyond for our event. They even set up an impromptu karaoke 🎤 session for us. …

This hotel was nice, clean, spacious, quiet. Has a bar and Starbucks downstairs and it’s overall pretty cool. Good service, everything works fine, only thing that was annoying was the shower. It was just at the top of your head.

Nice hotel. Good gym and comfy rooms. ||George at the bar & grill is a lovely legend, superb staff member. ||Good location for accessing Edinburgh. Felt there could be more on breakfast selection but all in all ok (for example no yogurt, no fruit but plenty of the fried goodness).

I was greeted by a lovely lady at check in, I was early but she made every effort to get me checked in asap.I booked here mainly because of the Pool and Spa.The Village has a nice and clean 20m pool, with Sauna, Steam room and jacuzzi, all of which is in great condition. The rooms in the hotel is very basic, but it’s pretty quiet at night except maybe at the weekend. The bed was fresh and comfortable. The room service for the rooms were pretty non existent, I had to go looking for fresh towels, and had to ask at reception to get my room maintained. I don’t know if my room had been skipped from the cleaners lists as so asked one of them one morning and my room wasn’t on her list?
