Absolutely lovely receptionist, Amy, welcomed us warmly. Loved talking to her! Rooms were clean and nice. The beds are always very comfortable in all premier inns I've stayed in. Location is a bit out of town.Definitely a good place to stay overall!

We were there as a big group and the service was excellent. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The premier inn staff organised everything for us from our evening meal to our breakfast the next day. A really warm welcome when we arrived with everything prepped and ready for a speedy checkin. We will defintely be back.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and was saddened that it was not up to the the usual good standards of a Premier Inn. On entering our room we had a good laugh at the fact that the 3 frames of art work on the wall were very crooked. Funny but not a problem! Next up my husband is saying that I should have look into the bathroom because it looked a bit mucky. He was right. The fittings on the toilet that hold the seat on were oozing with something I'd prefer not to think about and the soap dispenser was grimy.Next we decided to go next door to the bar restaurant for something to eat. On entering the first thing you noticed was the really, really loud (radio) music that was playing everywhere. We asked a member of staff if there was anywhere we could go where the radio wasn't on. He was lovely and took us straight into a bar with a pool table area and turned the music off. Great. What came next was a very nice meal but also the smallest amount of food that's ever been served to me as a main meal. Our surroundings were enhanced by the interesting choices of electrical cables around the room. Just after we finished our tiny meals and were possibly thinking about another drink a (different) member of staff came into the room, looked around, looked at us (we were the only ones in there), turned around, left the room and then the horrible music came back on.Back to our room we turned on the bedside lights to reveal two nice fat bits of chewing gum stuck to the inside of the shade. Don't know who I'm more irritated with, the filthy person who left it there or the room cleaner who didn't spot it?

We stayed here for three nights. It's perfect on the outskirts of Edinburgh with plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were greeted very warmly by Amy. Our room was clean, spacious and was cleaned everyday during our stay. We did room only. Would recommend. And thank you Amy for making us feel very welcome and for the list of nearby attractions.

If you are looking for a place to rest with no regard to smell or cleanliness then book away.||However, our experience in this establishment was one to forget. …

I booked this hotel for a colleague, with a strange request for a "safari of animals" made out of towels. Thank you so much Linzie for putting a smile on quite a few of our faces, they were amazing and very creative! (We gave back the chocolates as although a kind gesture, felt bad eating them)

The rooms are the usual high standards but unfortunately now being charged £9 for overnight parking. Seems like this is just a way of charging more as there is no other buildings within hundreds of yards so no-one else would be using the carpark. A totally unnecessary charge for this location.

Overall the place could do with a revamp. Bar and dining area was very dirty tables not cleaned etc, due to lack of staff numbers. At no time did or would I ever consider eating there. At £365 for two nights this was a complete rip off
