Charming. I needed somewhere to stay out of Glasgow for a night and ended up having a great time in the hotel. It's modest but it was everything I needed, very comfortable and tranquil place to be. TV and kettle in room. Restaurant was good too, staff nice and helpful. Easy parking. It's not really near anything so you need a car, and take care on the roads!

Had booked ahead of time for my husbands 40th birthday for a close family meal for 4 of us. It was a Tuesday, and a lot of other restaurants appeared to be closed on this day (The Blair, Romeo&Juliets). …

Adam, our waiter was lovely! My soup was cold and became even colder waiting on hubby's meal to arrive. They heated up the Garlic strong potato soup! Not so palatable... my hand cut chips eventually arrived, by this time everyone is finished. The rest of the party had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed their meals. (Fish and chips and the burger)

Overall a quaint stay in the countryside south of Glasgow. The beds are mighty small for 2 people and not too comfy, and you hear everything everywhere at all times so just keep that in mind! Also the WiFi does not work. It’s an old building so if you know that going into it, the better. The staff and service were top notch.

Helpful, friendly staff. Rooms a bit on the small side, and decor is a bit tired - the whole place could do with a refurb. However, the place was let down by the 'Scottish breakfast' - just about inedible. …

Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were nice and bed was very comfortable. We arrived very late but the manager was there to greet us and make sure that we found our room.|Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty of it. Tea and coffee was on tap throughout breakfast.

Extremely outdated premises a very poor location for anyone looking for shops near. The owners are complete thiefs unfairly paying multiple employees during my time I witnessed tips being quite obviously put into the owners pockets aswell as thousands in wage theft.(Expecting a salaried employee to work past contracted hours failing to provide payment of each hours worked accurately. When confronted I was told by James 'this is just how hospitality works'Highly suggest staying far away from here whether that being to stay especially to work for 1/10 employers.Asides from the negative comments the employees are all fantastic and unfortunate souls working for ruthless employers
