My daughter and I were having a spa day at another hotel and decided to make a weekend of it by staying in Glasgow. This hotel had a good deal on so we booked. …

DON'T GO THERE!!! BIG TOURIST TRAP!!After we arrived the door close roughly because the window was open and the fire detector fell off.. I fix it and they charge me £30 without my permission!! They keep all your back details to charge you. The breakfast finish at 9h15 a Sunday... lots of spider web and the worst is a fuse box not isolated just on the top of the shower!!!For the price they charge me I could have a luxury room in a good hotel, so don't want your money over there!!

The price for this hotel is usually low. The hotel is old so there is no lift. The rooms are generally spacious and the beds comfortable. You need to be fit to stay here because there is a steep hill to get up to the hotel, followed by lots of steps and then a trip up the hotel stairs to your room. The decor is really nice and quaint.

Wasnt a bad hotel at all for the price. Paid £100 and got a spacious room, TV and breakfast. Location is decent also. A 20min walk to the Hydro and 10mins from the shops at the centre of town. The carpet on the stairway and hallways could do with being updated they look old and ratty. And paint definitely needs touched up on the walls and door frames. Breakfast was lovely you get a choice of cereals, toast, eggs bacon etc. Cant fault it at all. However when we came in and sat down we waited 15mins before being seen to by the waitress and 2 tables who had came in after us were served before us aswell. It was quite a wait just for some toast. A few small things like these need to be addressed and this would be a cozy 4 star hotel. Many thanks.

Recently stayed here. For the price per night £35 its what you pay for. However the lack of keeping the hotel in good condition can be seem by all.Carpet torn.Bed cover holed and beo smelly (even after change 1st night).Bathroom tiled floor cracked and broken.Bathroom to bed room floor silver duct taped down.Shower hose to short for anyone over 5ft 5, as kinks at fitting.Shower shampoo tray broken.Shower floor tray cracked all the way throught the middle. ( how this isnt giving you give water issues down stair i never know)Staff however very helpful, especially the young girl on Monday afternoon.Hotel is quiet from the inside apart from doors that bang from other guests.Would i stay again. Personally No!This is my review as i seen it.

This probably the worst place in fifty years of travelling I have ever had the misfortune to stay in , and that includes tents, cars and caves.|My partner and I were given a room on the third floor. No lifts. …

Small but functional hotel. It is in need of some repair with doors that don't lock and broken extractor fans but the place was clean and the staff were helpful enough. The walls are thin though, so expect to hear your neighbour as of they were in the same room. The room was cheap and very close to central Glasgow so that was a huge plus!

Absolute hovel. Booked an hour before arrival on booking.com. Arrived to a junkie sitting on the stairs inside shouting about stuff being stolen from his room. Stood waiting in reception for someone to check us in. …

Has potential to be a nice place with great access to the city center, but so far we have had 2 very noisy nights here. I think with the proximity to the club's a block away, the other guests here tend to be loud and inebriated when they return each night. Additionally, the doors rattle excessively every time another door is opened. Not only are the other guests noisy, but the shared walls with the building next door presents extra noise that is not within their control.
