It couldn’t have been much worse. The person who checked us in couldn’t haven been more disinterested if he tried. I appreciate it was late but at least try to be a little more friendly and less like we were an inconvenience. The only plus was the bed was comfy as always in a Premier Inn. The room was freshly decorated but hadn’t been cleaned well. There was what looked like dry skin and nail clippings at the side of the bed. We arrived late and couldn’t be bothered traipsing back to reception to change rooms.Next morning, the chef hadn’t turned up to do the breakfast. We had paid for the cooked breakfasts but the only thing available was toast, a minimal amount of fruit and hot drinks. We got told we would be refunded. However, as we had a slice of toast each and a cup of tea, we were only refunded £2 out of £22. Absolutely terrible customer service, dirty room and the most expensive toast and tea I’ve ever had. There used to be a difference between Premier Inn and Travelodge. Not on this evidence.

Our first impressions of the Inn were positive when we were welcomed by a very friendly, professional and cheerful person on reception called Charles. …

As always, Premier Inn rooms and staff are brilliant. There is only one issue, which for me is a biggy. I chose this particular Premier Inn due to it saying it had a restaurant. Only to discover on arrival that they don't offer this anymore and haven't since July. I had been sent an email 2 days before we came, but I don't check emails. I only booked in September, so it should have been on the website that the facilities are not available. The staff did have a list of places to eat and phone numbers and times to get to them, which they gave us.I didn't fancy the 2 that were in walking distance and so had to drive. Though I enjoyed the food, this put a downer on our stay.Marking this stay as 'Could do better '

Handy wee place as we were attending a wedding, price was average, but the place is dated and tired. Main clientele seemed to be contractors (white van men) so I imagine it is convenient. The restaurant next door was only open for breakfast for guests. Just as well the garden centre is next door.

Right after landing in Scotland, it was a pleasure to stay at Premier Inn East Falkirk. Nice dinner served by a friendly staff member who advised us on good places to visit. And, of course, a great breakfast. A good start with (well-anticipated) mingling with the Scots.

After reading some of the reviews I was bit apprehensive! No need!Booked a twin room for 2 nights with breakfast , it had double bed and single bed and it was all spotless. Both beds very comfortable. …

You generally know what your getting with a premier inn... No frills hotel with comfortable beds. This one has a bath which is a bonus... Quite pricey for what it is...Only slight negative was the room had a fragrance of smoke... Perhaps the previous person had a cheeky smoke or the smokers stood under the open window... Only a minor point.

Hotel is clean and staff are so lovely. The temperature when the hotel is full is too much. I understand there is no air con offered but this was exceptionally hot. Would stay again but avoid warmer months.
