First time back at this hotel for a number of years. Was it perfect? No. Would we go back? 100% yes!! Minor negatives for us were no draught beer and only one white wine option (big deal for a pinot grigio lover!) …

I stayed at this Hotel for 4 Nights due to Work, I checked into my room and Found Muddy carpet and bedsheets, I received new bedsheets as requested for when I started changing the bed sheets I found Bedbugs, we talked to the lovely Receptionist who thankfully switched my Room after this and hearing about the Wasps, Flies and more between my windows, I cannot remember her Name but she was Amazing. Another Huge Thank you to Andre I believe his name was for being Amazing and Attentive to Us and other guests. Although our experience wasn’t great on the first night the Staff are amazing. The Photo attached was From the First room which Staff took care of.

Just back from a short break at The Popinjay Hotel.Where do I start:The staff are absolutely wonderful. Welcoming, friendly, helpful and every person I dealt with went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. Don't usually name drop but a special thank you to Hannah, Elaine, Jenny, Pamela and Aileen. The Hotel itself is set in beautiful countryside overlooking the river Clyde. It's so central for Glasgow and Edinburgh and there are so many local attractions you can visit whilst there. The hotel has a beautiful secluded bar where we had scones and tea and a few drinks in the evening.Probably the best selling point of this hotel is the food!I've eaten in many many restaurants throughout the UK and abroad and can safely say I've never tasted food as good as this anywhere. The chef and his team should be commended.I cannot wait to return and neither can my partner. Thanks for a delightful break!

My wife and I spent one night here on an itison break. The booking stated we had been allocated a superior twin room (25). However, I had great difficulty in spotting any superior room features that warranted this description. …
