I can't describe it all, just terrible, completely overpriced... Anything but a 'sports hotel'! Don't book! Only the view from the balcony was nice. Breakfast was ok too.

1st room:When booking we had the choice between a single bed and a double bed or a sofa bed and a double bed. We decided on the single bed and double bed. When we checked in, we realized that there was a sofa bed. But this still had to be opened and moved into.Our room felt like it was in the middle of the parking lot, and the lights from the cars were constantly coming in. There was a window, but the stairs went up to it, so we constantly had people walking past our window. It got very warm at night because we didn't want to leave the room door open all night to ventilate and the one window wasn't enough.The cleanliness was great.There was no way to cool the drinks you brought with you.2. Breakfast:The breakfast was ok, there were rolls, sausage, cheese, spreads, eggs, fruit and muesli. There was also coffee, juices and cocoa, albeit in reusable plastic cups that are more reminiscent of camping.3rd location:The location is ideal, you can quickly reach Königssee or Berchtesgaden. You get guest tickets (paid with the tourist tax) which allow you to travel on the bus for free. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.4. Service: the lady at check-in was nice, but this was the only time we met someone. If we had any questions or concerns, no one was ever to be found, no matter what time of day.There was no water in the room, you could have bought it: €4 for 1 liter. Ridiculously high price!5. Bath:There was no window in the bathroom, very small and no place to put things except at the sink. Everything was clean.Conclusion: €200 per night is way too much for the room we had! I won't stay here again and won't recommend it.

The reception on arrival was mediocre. Telephone numbers were posted at the reception, where a tape immediately went off.Nobody reached yet. Another guest was then able to find the lady.Otherwise it was nice.Room was clean and furnished in a timely manner.Drawback, there was only one socket in the bathroom in my room!All in all, an older (sports) hotel that is not.

I had one of the worst experiences staying at this hotel. Despite paying 170 euros per night, they didn't even provide water or a glass to drink tap water. The service was terrible, and the rooms were extremely cramped. The Wi-Fi on the third floor was also quite poor. I wouldn’t recommend this place, though I booked it last minute. On the bright side, the location is convenient, and the breakfast was good.

A great place to stay at for its surrounding atmosphere. The view right outside was magnificent and it felt unreal to stay at such a place.Rooms were fairly large and clean, but the bathroom has lots of bugs. Doesn't have a hair dryer. Doesn't have air conditioning, but the area is cool even during summer. Located near tourist locations and some restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was lackluster.We were lucky to have the owner nearby when we checked in even though it was rather late. Service was standard.

I can't shake the feeling that the bad reviews here aren't entirely honest...we were very happy with the clean rooms, the staff are friendly and speak German well enough that everything can be sorted out. The boss is a very pleasant and committed person. The view of mountains is great, it is quiet at night and the hotel is cozy. We would stay here again at any time. Just a hairdryer in the room would be great!

The place is in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are clean but the prices are a factor of 2 to 3 higher than I normally would pay for a hotel if this class. Reason is, of course, that it is in a very touristy area

I am going to give my honest thoughts about this place detached from emotions.1. We booked through Expedia, and when we arrived at the hotel, no one was manning the reception desk. There were keys left out in envelopes with names written on them. Our name was not on any of the envelopes. Be aware that this is how they do buisness. They do not man the desk, so if you have questions or issues, you have to call a number. We called the number multiple times and did not get a response. We walked around town, looked at some stuff to kill time and went back to the hotel, and sat on the porch. Eventually, we got a call back, explained the situation, and the man said someone would come. About an hour total in waiting from arrival at the hotel, finally getting a call back, and arrival of the hogel. He explained to us that he didn't work at the hotel but was covering down for a friend. He told us that our reservation wasn't in the system. I told him we booked through Expedia, and he hit some buttons and was like, "Oh yes, here you are." He couldn't give us an answer as to how our reservation was missed because he said he didn't work there and it was the other guy. I told him that it was very strange that they didn't have a receptionist. He told me I could write an email to the Chef. Just a really wierd check in experience you should be aware of.2. All conversations were had in German. I initially tried using English, but I got the sense it wasn't as good. It's not a "bad" thing, just letting you know if you only speak English and there is an issue you may have to struggle through it.3. The staff is all Ukrainian. I bring this up because if you stay in a typical Bavarian Ghasthaus, there are certain things that you can expect. Beer on tap, efficient management, and Bavarian food. This place doesn't have that, so if that's what you're expecting, look somewhere else. Now, they did offer a traditional Ukrainian meal for dinner every night. I didn't eat there, but it did look and smell good, so if you're interested in that, it could be fun.4. The rooms are typical of what to expect from a Ghasthaus. If you haven't stayed in one before, be aware that they are small and you can hear your neighbors. Our room was efficiently tidy, and it served its purpose.5. The location of the hotel is great. Really close tourist attractions, and it had fantastic views of the Alps.6. The breakfast was 5 Euros a person. It wasn't bad for the price. Typical breads, cold cuts, jams, Jogurt, coffee, juices. Enough to satisfy hunger for 5 Euro. If you are used to a more substantial breakfast, you will be disappointed, but I thought it was good for the price.Final Verdict: If you are looking for a certain standard of comfort and hospitality, you will not like this place. If you want a cheaper place that you will utilize only at night because you are out and about most of the day, then this place will satisfy that need. The view is great, rooms are typical, just don't expect too much from service.

Shitty would still be bragging.First of all, the only positive thing: the view is great and the room was clean.Now for the negative points.- you don't feel welcome, but rather a necessary evil.- Any questions are referred to the extremely unfriendly boss by telephone.- There are hangings in the hallwaysDrying rack.- the staff doesn't understand you- Cancellations are not accepted- the breakfast is below the standard of a bad youth hostel.-Website totally misleading, it advertises things that aren't there and just shamelessly lies.Conclusion: Never again, we advise everyone not to visit this “sport”😂 hotel.
