Since it is not my first stay here, the choice was conscious and intentional. You're in prime location right on the beach. The service and the rooms are top notch as usual. I always enjoy staying at the Meeresburg or Creutzenberg houses.

Great hotel, close to the beach and the city center.Unfortunately the hotel is a bit older and is not being modernized.Breakfast was also great, except that unfortunately there was only coffee and tea, I would have liked a latte macchiato.Swimming pool was also super clean and the water was pleasant.Towels were also replaced every day.Rooms are also super clean and the location is very quiet.

Very friendly person.Unfortunately the family room (3 adults and 1 dog) was not rented for 2 days. Statement: Too much effort for the landlord for just 2 nights.And starting tomorrow, from Friday to Sunday!The room is better left empty and not rented out. It's a shame for the landlord, we won't rent here anymore and won't recommend it to anyone else.It's a shame, especially since it used to always be possible to book here at short notice.

Traditional hotel, which is very centrally located. The rooms are a bit older, but clean. There is a beautiful swimming pool including a sauna, which can be used free of charge. The breakfast is great.

Hotel Meeresburg on Norderney: 6/10 bright room with two seats and outdated furniture. Air conditioning not available. Minibar not available. Welcome drinks available for €2. Mattresses as hard as a board, two pillows with the option of adding more pillows. Very small, well-kept bathroom with shower and sufficient number of towels and soap. Free access to WIFI with acceptable internet access. TV adequately sized but incorrectly positioned as it was placed on the desk. Competent and friendly staff. Houskeeping had cleaned very well and the room and furnishings were kept in very good condition, but there is a need for modernization. Breakfast buffet very rich and tasty (mom style). Swimming pool (very cold) of a reasonable size and sauna (unfortunately it was no longer in operation at 6 p.m.). Opening times for the spa area are too tight as it closes at 7:00 p.m. No towels and bathrobes available in the swimming pool. Value for money therefore overpriced

Unfortunately you can't give any negative points here.We stayed there at the hotel for four days for a short vacation. I didn't sleep at night for four days because all the windows in the apartment were leaking and the wind and cold permeated every room.A complaint was made upon arrival without the management deeming it necessary to remedy the defect. Our mistake was that we had already paid in advance.After that, the management didn't even think it was necessary to satisfy us.On the last day, 16 hours before departure, we received an offer for an alternative location.I think it was probably a bad joke after we hadn't been able to sleep for four days because the wind was blowing through the windows and all the rooms were freezing cold and it gave me a stiff neck and back pain.My wife had a bad cold afterwards.The management didn't even come up with the idea of offering a rent reduction, which is why we had to seek legal help. All rooms are in need of renovation, the furniture is very old and worn. Touching the upholstered furniture just makes you feel sick because there were stains on all of the upholstery, regardless of origin. The entire house is in need of renovation and has a renovation backlog. When others were cooking in their apartments, the smell could be felt everywhere in our apartment. Definitely steer clear of this company. Management's behavior towards customers is absolutely unacceptable.

We had an apartment (No. 2, city view). The apartment has the most necessary equipment. Pots and pans in top condition. The pans have a non-stick coating - so omelets or fried eggs are no problem.Our apartment does not have an oven (but this will be pointed out when booking and you can also get an oven[€]) and two hotplates.Glasses and cups a bit sparse, but it's enough. Otherwise a great location to the promenade, the milk bar and the city.What was great was that we were able to check in at 11:30 a.m. because the apartment was already ready for occupancy. However, our travel time was the first week in March - not a season.

The location of the apartment house couldn't be better. We had a sea view. At the hotel we had the swimming pool to ourselves. Splendid. Only apartment 19 didn't impress us as much because it was getting old. The carpeting could be swapped for laminate and the bathroom with PVC flooring is very marginal. This room is absolutely not for allergy sufferers. It worked for the 4 days we were there. For a longer stay I would recommend another apartment.
