The pancakes at breakfast are the best reason to go to this hotel. They crumble in your mouth, buttery, soft and just enough sweetness that you hear, no, feel the work of God. The omelette too! With cheese 😭

I've been here several times now and I still think the house is great. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly designed and the breakfast is very good. Only the speed at reception could be improved a bit. I had already checked in online and still nothing was prepared when I arrived.

we stayed on the highest floor, which is 5th flr. If u dont need house keeping to clean your room , they will give u €5 coupon which could spend in hotel restaurant or bar, i take it to exchange my favorite movenpick ice cream.however, food items varieties in breakfast buffet are limited.oh , i reckon its better to have a shower curtain in the shower booth , to avoid splashing water to outside

Rooms are clean, adequately spacious and well stocked. Location is first class. Service is where they've lost it all. Let me share my experience. I stayed with them during the Berlin Marathon 27-30 Sep, 2024. I had paid my full booking in advance - in two parts - through my travel agent. Initial booking was for me and my wife - which was paid well in advance many months back. One week before the marathon, our son also decided to join us. So we booked an extra bed for him for 3 nights, and again paid to the travel agent - more than a week in advance.At the time of checkin, the hotel took my credit card and blocked an amount of Euro 50 for incidentals. Perfectly logical. No issues.At the time of check out, they asked me to shell out approx Euro 200 for the extra bed for 3 nights. I informed them that the same has been paid to the travel agent. I made the front desk incharge speak to the travel agent (Mr.Suraj of Active Holiday Company), who conveyed them all details and the matter was sorted. I checked out and travelled on to my next destination - Madrid. Same evening Suraj, who was also in Berlin for the marathon, visited them personally and sorted out the matter.Still the next day, my card was charged an amount in excess of Euro 200+. I was shocked and had to call my bank and dispute the transaction - after which the bank blocked my card to prevent fraudulent use (as per their SOP). I faced a lot of trouble during my week long travel to Spain due to this.This made for a terrible experience staying with MovenPick.

Unfortunately our stay was very disappointing.The hotel advertises 4 stars and a “Superior” rating, but these high expectations were far from being met. Many small defects were particularly annoying, and overall they had a significant negative impact on our impression. Normally I can overlook small things, but in this case the list of shortcomings was just too long.Room:At first glance the room appears large and clean, but upon closer inspection there are clear deficiencies. There were mold spots in the shower, the sink was very discolored and the faucet in the shower was wobbling. Particularly annoying: The shower stall was leaking, so water ran into the bathroom after every shower. The TV in the room was not only tiny, but also mounted far too low, making watching TV uncomfortable. There was also a lack of sockets - you had to choose between using a bedside lamp or charging your cell phone. The minibar was empty, the fridge wasn't even plugged in. We looked in vain for free water in the room, which we are used to even in much cheaper hotels. Instead there was only tea bags and instant coffee. The pillows were a disaster - I normally like to sleep flat, but these pillows had next to no volume, so it felt like you were lying directly on the mattress.Service & Breakfast:We had breakfast included, and although it was tasty and plentiful, it was poorly refilled. Almost every morning we had to wait for refills, be it for rolls (up to 15 minutes) or jam, which sometimes wasn't replenished at all. On top of that, our table wasn't set every time we arrived. Even after we got our first coffee, neither cutlery nor napkins were brought. Salt and pepper shakers were also often missing.In summary, we have stayed in significantly cheaper 2 to 3 star hotels that were both cleaner and more modern. The service there was also a lot better. For a stay with low expectations and cheap room rates, this hotel may be fine, but anyone expecting a 4-star experience will be disappointed - this hotel is far from it.

Good, upscale hotel with nice and well-equipped rooms. Everything is always clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and open and always helpful.Also worth mentioning is the breakfast, which, as usual at Mövenpick, is really impressive. Even for vegans there is some choice.The only point of criticism, which now applies to all of Berlin, is the price. What is sometimes mentioned here is far from what the hotel is "worth".If you catch a favorable period, you will get very pleasant and nice accommodation here.
