The room smelled of smoke and cannabis. There was an electrical clicking noise coming from the fuse box, that clicked every 40 seconds. It was pretty irritating. The bed was comfortable and clean.Overall the rooms could do with a bit of a clean. But fantastic location and great price.

We had room 19. Nice room with disabled wet room. Fan in bathroom wasn’t working and I told reception and they got it working but it stopped again by next day. Couldn’t be bothered to tell them again. The room was booked for 2 people but we only had 1 bath towel on arrival. We requested twin beds but had a double on arrival. Reception did offer to change it but we said it would be ok. I asked for a menu and they said there was one in our room but there wasn’t. Staff were very polite and tried to be helpful. I think someone needs to be checking rooms to make sure everything is as ordered and everything is in room before customers arrive

We're just leaving after staying 3 nights in a Premier Plus room. The room had dirty carpets and a dirty fridge. I asked for the room to be cleaned each day we stayed, but the carpets and fridge weren't touched. The air con doesn't work. …

Very good receptionist mr silva. Every thing was amazing. Only downside was having to pay for parking when you are staying. The beds are very comfortable even have extra pillows. Room was very clean and tidy. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

I don’t understand the negative reviews about this place. There was a £10 difference between a standard room and the premier plus rooms but the plus rooms were stunning. Big open space with an equally large bathroom. Good amenities such as free water, some biscuits chocolate and the standard coffee amenities. Smart TV in the room so connecting to watch a movie wasn’t a hassle. Air conditioning in the room was the main reason I booked and it was so needed in this heat. Quite frankly no noise from other rooms. The corridor in the plus rooms had its own scented fragrance which was motion sensor which was nice. Beds extremely comfy as always and the best part was that the iron and board was in the room rather than needing to ask reception. Would definitely stay in a plus room again. Probably the nicest premiere inn we’ve stayed at as well.

A very nice guy checked me in a listened to my request for a quiet room and adjusted my booking. The room was very big, clean and quiet and I slept like a baby! The shower was powerful and the bathroom clean. The location was handy for popping into Headington which I was pleasantly surprised how lovely and affluent an area it was. It was close to Lidl and to where my business meeting was too. Breakfast was super and the staff friendly and helpful. Thanks

Spent 4 days here, weather not so good but plenty to do in Oxford, that's why we came. All staff very helpful, especially Maria, Ahmed and Jo. Beefeater next door also good, brilliant staff, nothing to much bother and food was lovely, very busy so booking is a must if you want to sit in restaurant. Extra thanks to Nina who looked after us at breakfast. ALL restaurant staff are brilliant, sorry but only remember Ollies name, who served us all weekend, other guys n girls, thanks, you know who you are.

The rooms are as you would expect for a Premier Inn. We slept well and we were not disturbed by other guests. The check in was a shambles. The automated machines did not work for us and the staff took a long time to get us checked in. There was a queue so it took about 20 minutes for us. One woman was waiting to check in for over an hour. The location is good for Oxford, right on a bus route. The car park is a good size but you have to pay £7 per night. If you have an electric car do not believe the website for the hotel, which incorrectly states that electric vehicle chargers are available. This is not true and there are no EV chargers here. The staff member blithely told me that I could charge at Tesco but that's not what was on their website.
