I loved loved loved staying there! The rooms were super clean, the location is simply amazing and the staff is beyond awesome. Super warm people, with activities to offer you and such a nice energy. The environment overall is great. The only thing it might be tricky could be the locks and the bathrooms. I was styaing in room 1 so the closest bathroom was always being used & it wasn't very comfortable. I still highly recommend this hostel if you prioritize location & treatment :)

Amazing Stay at Astor Museum Hostel!I recently stayed at the Astor Museum Hostel in London, and it exceeded all my expectations! The location is absolutely unbeatable – right next to the British Museum and within walking distance of some of London’s best attractions. It made exploring the city so easy and convenient. The hostel itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to offer great tips on things to do around the city. They made me feel at home from the moment I checked in.The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I loved the comfortable beds and the fact that the hostel had plenty of storage space for luggage. The common areas were perfect for meeting fellow travelers, with a vibrant social vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable.Another standout feature was the breakfast – a simple but delicious selection to kickstart the day. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I appreciated the option to prepare meals whenever I needed.Overall, my stay at Astor Museum Hostel was fantastic. It’s an affordable, friendly, and comfortable place that’s perfect for anyone wanting to explore London. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, extremely comfortable bed, and very spacious rooms. Bathrooms are kept clean. Makes for very pleasant experience. There is a smoking area next to the kitchen and sometimes the smell comes into the living areas. But to be honest, given all the niceties, and the very low price, I am not going to count that against them.

Very nice hostel, in a good place. We were in the second house (140m from the hostel), where the private rooms were. Our room looked into to a tiny yard, which allowed us to have the window open the whole night and have good air flow. The only negatives I saw were the lack of a big sink, we had one in our room, but the size is a bit small to wash one's face and the ceiling in the shared showers were rather low. But the water pressure in the showers were great, so I guess win some, lose some.As for the service, the staff were great, especially Tristan and Alexander, the helped me greatly when I was double charged by accident. The situation itself was resolved very quickly and fixed by the manager within 3 days.

Location was excellent, on a calm street yet in central London, so everything you need is close by. Close to British Museum, quaint squares, and lots amenities in local shops. Excellent service by staff, very friendly! Bed was clean and surprisingly comfortable. The dorm room of 10 beds was more spacious than expected.

I stayed here for 5 days, and it was such a fun time. Even though I was out all day exploring the city, I had a really chill time when I got back in the evenings. As for the place itself: it was clean and every day taken care of. The price for what you get is really good too. You’ve got a comfy bed, a nice bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you need, plus a cozy living room where you can hang out with others and watch Netflix or whatever. The staff made my stay even better, they almost felt like friends. We got along so well, they were always super helpful with any questions and super attentive. I can totally see myself coming back here the next time I’m in London. Easy 10/10 if you ask me, and shoutout to some people who I’ll always remember: Tristan, Elisa, Aitor & Ben <33 (Someone said the first one has potential to be your best friend in the UK?)Much love from Germany-A

A nice located hostel in the centre of London. My first experience in a hostel ever. Had a room with 8 beds but there were multiple rooms with different amount of beds more and less. There was a great welcome by the friendly reception workers. The hostel is “alive” with a lott of people to meet and speak to. Had a good experience for the first time except from sleep. Because the amount of people its pretty noisy with the doors shuting and the most annoying thing is the bed is moving while the person above or below you is moving so it can keep you awake very long. Overal a good experience and would definetely go back here

The staff are super friendly, and the hostel is the perfect balance of a social hostel and a hostel that stays quiet and peaceful. It's clean, the bunks in the 15 person dorm are very sturdy, and it felt like everyone was respectful of people's privacy. Love the kitchen, grocery stores are very close making it very convient to save money by cooking for yourself. The lounge is small, but more cozy than cramped, and there were movie nights and game nights. Will always stay here when I come to London!
