We booked a three day break with 3 other families. It was a bit pricey for three days but it had a pool, restaurant and music bar on site. ||The Good||The staff were very friendly and welcoming. …

We stayed here and were very disappointed by the place. The apartment was very dirty and clearly wasn't looked after well - it was covered in dust, spiders and the bathroom light didn't work (although they did fix the light when we mentioned this). The pool was not available for the majority of our stay and we ended up leaving early due to the poor conditions. Since then, they've ignored all our communication when asking for a partial refund. It's a shame as the resort has potential to be good but a lack of care and customer service means you'd be better off staying elsewhere.

This resort is what you make of it. It is not glamorous, and yes there is some of the site not in use for holiday makers (worth remembering there is a housing crisis and this is UK 2024 after the decade we've just had, so it's everyone's problem now). The staff are completely lovely, helpful and kind, the entertainment is great and the families there are having a great time. There was a magician on both nights we were there and the pool was great for the family. Also a beautiful, large sauna which I was able to use, bliss. Food was lush with lots of options and if you want more, you can walk to Ilfracombe easily. Thanks for having us.

A great base to explore North Devon. The kids have thoroughly enjoyed their stay here, they’ve especially loved the evening entertainment. The staff really go above and beyond for the little ones, helping them take home some great memories! The Monkey Puzzle Restaurant was a hit with us too, really great food and the presentation was superb!

Absolute sh**hole. Seems to be housing homeless people at the same time as paying guests. We stayed in a "superior" two bed apartment. Nothing superior about it at all. …

Not as bad as the other reviews make out! I had sleepless nights on the lead up to our stay from the reviews I’d read after I’d booked our break. …

We had spent the week in Cornwall and had a 7 hour journey home so decided to book a room for the night to break things up. This resort popped up on Booking.com and looked lovely! …

Stayed here just for two nights for a quick getaway. Interior is modern and comfortable, clean and has the basics. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t busy when we went which probably helped - in peak periods it’s probably good to know the rooms don’t have much soundproofing so we could hear our neighbours up late. Other than that didn’t have any issues with other residents.Think ideal if you wanted somewhere affordable to stay to explore ilfracombe / north Devon. Also worth packing a fan if you can as the rooms can be warm at night on a sunny day.
