We are spending our summer holiday in Scotland and decided to stay in the Navidale House Hotel for a few days. It was a great decision. Beautiful old house, wonderful architecture! Amazing rooms, our Kingfisher Suite with a breathtaking view, I can't stop watching the sea! Very clean, with bath sets, little kettle, cups, tea and coffee bags. Totally lovely! The owner very friendly and polite. Breakfast tasty, also vegetarian option! I am more than happy to be in this wonderful place with stunning views ❤️❤️❤️

This is a well positioned hotel on the beautiful coast very close to Dunrobin Castle. Very friendly hosts who made you feel very welcome. Our room...the Swan ...had a gorgeous view of the sea and the two windows made it nice and bright. …

What a stay we had in a pet friendly hotel. Room was cosy and warm with a sea view. The team were great. They were friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our dog. ||The breakfast was faultless. Our only problem was that we only stayed 1 night. ||Definitely recommend if you are in the nc500

We stopped at the hotel thinking it would have a good position and we were not disappointed. We got the last (of 10) room , but it had a great double aspect over the sea and gardens. Very quiet, comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. We also made a nice walk down to the beach. Great one night stay. Many thanks

First the positives. The hotel is in beautiful grounds and there is parking on site. Binoculars were thoughtfully provided in our room so we could look out our window at the sea view. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The shower had plenty of hot water and was powerful enough to be good. Indoors, the hotel feels comfortable and there was a lovely warm fire at reception on arrival. The receptionist was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice.Sadly, it lost points from us on 2 accounts: the towels provided were cheap and we each had a hand towel and a bath towel. In my view, one hand towel would really suffice in the bathroom, for handwashing. The bath towel was not a bath sheet, so not something you can wrap around yourself and feel cosy in after your shower. I normally think of a standard bath towel as a 'hair towel' as it's the kind of towel big enough to wrap around your head when you wash your hair. As I had to dry my body and hair with the one towel, it was very wet by the time I'd finished!Worst of all, our bed was hard and uncomfortable. Spent the night tossing and turning, feeling pressure points. As a result we both had a very poor sleep and as that's the main goal of a hotel room it was disappointing. If the hotel was more generous with its towels and put a better mattress in the room, our stay would've been great.Disappointed also that while they serve breakfast you can't get an evening meal there so you have to go out and find one.

Lovely place to stay. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is handy for a short walk to a small village which has places to eat for evening meals. Breakfast was excellent, views out to sea are amazing and gardens are lovely. Disappointed the weather wasn't better so we could have a nice relaxing evening drink outside although the coal fire and snug area were cosy. I would definately go back.

We revisited Navidale on our way to Orkney, we had stayed last year and were looking forward to our visit. The room was fine, bottled water OK and our dog was welcome. Great breakfast, pleasant staff BUT no evening meals! …
