Check in was a breeze, everything explained, room very comfortable and clean. Very comfortable bed. Choice off bath or shower in room I had.Bar service is to a table you choose in lobby area, restaurant offers lots different choices. Sadly had to leave before breakfast.Ample car parking with great access to major road networks close by.After a long day on the road made for a fantastic stay to relax and get a good sleep.Only downside adjoining door to next room meant could hear there tv.

We did not stay at the hotel but attended a fabulous wedding reception. The function room was large, the tables set with candelabras, the lighting super and amplifier provided. The meal was delicious and the service impeccable. …

Older, art deco hotel, worn. Large room, no A/C. Only 1 bar of soap, so no soap for shower. Bathroom door not hung straight, so kept closing. Had to prop open door.  …

Having paid in excess of £800 for two nights I expected better service.||It is impossible to get any hot room service after 7pm which is bizzare and late night arrivals or business travellers need to know this. …

Our experiences at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel were exceptional. The hotel is outside the main city center (about 7 minutes by car and you are in the center). It has parking and has the feel of a very traditional Scottish hotel. What impressed me most was the service provided by the staff: everyone was extremely attentive and available. I was really impressed. There are some things that could be improved: I found the rooms a little cold (I usually fell more cold then normal)... the heater, in my case, wasn't enough. I had to sleep with a duvet. The amenities (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) could be a little better too. Overall, it seems like an old but well-kept hotel that needs some repairs. But the repairs are small and it makes up for the other qualities!
