We stayed on a whim, last minute. We were already heading up to Torridon and decided to cut Skye from the trip and stay in the Glencoe area for three extra days instead. ||Our room was stunning and quite large for the UK. …

Last minute booking and this really was an excellent find. Little hidden gem of a place just outside Fort William with beautifully appointed, really comfy rooms and welcoming hosts. Dinner was fabulous - a taste of India and breakfast did not disappoint. Many thanks to the friendly and attentive staff.

Stayed for one night for hubbys birthday. Very last minute booking and so glad we found this place. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. On entering our beautifully presented room, the addition of the Tunnocks tea cakes on the bed made us smile. The hotel itself has a lovely warm homely feeling with wooden floors, beams and floral sofas with traditional Scottish pictures on the walls. The rooms are rustic with a Jacobean style throughout. Big comfy bed with crisp white linen and very clean bathroom with beautiful products. We dined in the hotel as there are not many restaurants nearby and the food was excellent. We shared a starter and had an Indian meal each for mains and the portion sizes were more than adequate. They even brought my husband chocolate cake with a candle for his birthday at no cost to us. Would’ve gladly paid for it as it was delicious! The staff were all so softly spoken, welcoming and attentive and everyone had a smile on their face. Nothing was too much trouble during our visit. We requested non feather pillows (allergy) which were accommodated and at breakfast (buffet style) we asked for poached and fried eggs instead of the scrambled available and this was again not a problem and were cooked to perfection. All in all a lovely, romantic getaway, great food, with excellent staff at great prices. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well. Mr & Mrs Logan, room 14, stayed 05.10.24.

Lovely small Hotel. Real romantic place in the middle of nowhere. Super rooms and very friendly service. It’s hard to find restaurants near so you have to eat in. Good mainly Indian food with good wine list. Not the cheapest but has a very good vibe.

This is a lovely cottage style hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and hardworking! The food in the restaurant was very good. The breakfast was included. It was delicious.Dinner was a bit pricey but excellent. I would like to see them offer some mild options on their Indian cuisine menu. Even their "mild" dishes were on the spicey side, but overall the food was excellent. The rooms were nice & clean except for a thick layer of dirt under the beds (I only saw this because I dropped a piece of jewelry that slid under the bed).I would absolutely stay here again thanks to the friendly staff and location. For those looking to plan out your vacation: The hotel is around the corner, about 7 min from Fort Augustus (last photo here on the way to the Boathouse restaurant). It's close to a lot of historical sites: about 35 min from Eilean Donan Castle, 39 min from Urquhart Castle, 1 hr 45 min from the Isle of Skye, just over an hour from Inverness, 2 hrs from Pitlochry and about 3 hrs from Edinburgh. It's a great central location to many historical sites.

Best stay of our trip. We had quite the unfortunate mix up with our travel agency upon arrival. The staff at Rokeby Manor went out of their way to accommodate us with a room on a Friday night. They are the most welcoming hosts, share great tips and advice, food is so good. We really felt at home here and can only highly recommend staying here while in the area!!!

The place is exquisite, I went there with 5 other friends of mine who came from San Francisco to show them around Inverness and we landed up here for a food break. The food was delicious but the portions of some could have been more. The staff were nice and friendly! Recommending everyone whose on his way to Inverness to take a pit stop and have amazing cuisine.

Location, rooms, service : great.Food: 50% overpriced.21£ burger - should be taken off the menu: that is the abomination of the "standard food".Indian dishes: OK, simply overpriced.Pretty basic "included breakfast", precooked, tasteless.Come on! you charge a hefty price for a night. One would expect more from such a location.Ground floor rooms: noisy until guests decide their children should not be shouting anymore.
