This has been one of my highlights of my trip to the Cairngorms. I have stayed in the youth hostel next door and I have visited the bar every night I have stayed there - the food was exceptional, the bar staff super friendly and the local beer on tap amazing. There was even a live band one night! 100% recommend.

What absolute gem! Wandered in here at random because we thought the beach cafe would be too busy. We had great, friendly service, good food, and a perfect pint of cask Cairngorm beer.

What a great place. What a find!Staff are amazing. All of them. Great craik, great laugh.Went away for a couple of nights wi ma dug, had the most awesome time ever in the Pine Marten.Couldn't recommend the place more.Prices - no too expensive for where it is at all.Food - not special but great hearty pub fair.Drinks - great pints. They sell great local brewery pints, you can get a couple of good ones then go on to the Tennents so you don't get too smashed!Staff - blooming awesome. Great craik, smashing banter and they continue the conversation into the next day.Music - live band on the Thursday night when I was there were from Sweden and were really good. Chilled Indy Folk Rock vibe that totally suited the place.5 stars all round for this place. We'll be back! Can't comment on rooms as was camping wild on the beach but this place had everything I needed and then some.My dog also loved it to bits!Love love love.Going back next weekend! 👊❤️😍

Drinks? Is a but is alright, prices okay.Food?? Is a nono, from quality to who is making and who is bringing for you on table. If you saw nightmare kitchen this is the worst I ever saw.Very very dirty cook, bucket with leftovers on the counter next to freshly prepared food. The cook (chef) was so dirty and didn't follow any hygiene procedures. The girl who bring you the plates and took away the dirty one play with dogs outside, go inside touch your pickle onion to fix your burgers while the "little Dirty chef shouts around 🤣.The guy who took orders was so " High" the other girls from bar was eating on the spot.I didn't got angry but I was amazed and think is funny to see such place 🤣 dirty everywhere belive me 🤣.By the way if you see the pizza van outside make yourself a favor and save your 11pounds. Apart from been worm this pizza was so dull and burn. Never eat such rubbish food in my life absolutely no taste and the lady from van had the courage to suggest to get 2 😅. Anyway have fun and are better places to eat down the road. Cheers
