We booked direct for two nights dinner, bed and breakfast, six months in advance for a wedding anniversary break. ||We were initially very disappointed with our room.  …

Stayed here with my husband as we were up at Fort William for a wedding.|First impression wasn’t good with the B missing from the hotels name on the front of the hotel. The hallways and bedrooms are tired and the breakfast was poor. …

The location from the room is a touch far from the train station and town, about a 20-30 minute walk, but the scenery and mountains are so stunning that I genuinely didn't mind. The room itself is very nice and about what I'd expect from a hotel. The staff was easy going and very accommodating. The look of the hotel itself has certainly seen better days. This hotel could really use cleaning and a bit more upkeep, but that doesn't really detract from my experience as a whole. The area itself is incredible. The surrounding mountains are breath taking.

After arriving two hours later than expected, it was dark when we approached the hotel but I was unaware at that point the photos provided online were several years out of date.  …

The hotel’s location is spot on, just a quick drive from the visitor centre, making it an ideal base for those planning a hike up the mountain. The rooms are straightforward and unpretentious—nothing fancy, but they certainly do the job. After a long day trekking, the spa facilities were a real treat. They’re of good quality and just what you need to unwind those tired muscles. The breakfast was your standard fare, but I was impressed with the quality; everything was fresh and well-prepared.The staff were particularly lovely—always friendly and ready to assist, whether it was ordering taxis or being on hand for anything else we might need.

Stayed here one night after walking up Ben Nevis. Conveniently located along the main road and close to Ben Nevis visitor center. Lots of space in the car park, front and rear.Seems to be a popular stop off, so I was fortunate to just beat a coach party on check in.There is no lift, which caused some consternation for the coach party that arrived with heavy luggage. The stairs are no issue. The room was clean and modern looking. Decent value compared to others around this location. Very convenient with a supermarket and fuel station close by.The breakfast room was vast so no issues finding a space at around 7:30 am. Usual toast, cereals, fruit and a buffet cooked breakfast. Easy to get milk alternatives after asking the staff.I really appreciated the spa facilities. A perfect antidote for tired muscles after a long walk up Ben Nevis.Generally the hotel was decent and clean. There were a few tires areas, nothing a lick of paint would not resolve. Minor aesthetics and certainly no issues for my stay.

We recently had our wedding at the hotel, using the Ball Room and Bar area mainly and the facility and staff were first class, just as we'd hoped for. …

The only redeeming feature of this place was the excellent service and meals in the bar area. The rooms are run down and smell weird. Special mention to Connor who served us at the bar incredibly friendly and polite.
