Great stay here. Rooms were super. 5th floor had amazing views. We had the most stunning sunrise ever! Only 5 or 6 bus stops away from the city centre (£2 ea way on bus) plenty shops, restaurants & bars round about. In fact there was a reasonably priced restaurant adjoining the hotel. We all enjoyed our breakfast which was included. We were grateful for the many plug sockets & use of spaces for device use etc. The staff were very helpful, and very friendly. All in, a super modern & friendly hotel, close by to all that Edinburgh has to offer. We'll be back.

A nice, pleasant and fairly centrally located hotel, within walking distance to the main places. The hotel is very clean and the room was nice and big. The bed was comfortable and there’s a great variety for breakfast. …

Room was clean. Breakfast was decent. 20 minute walk to the main tourist sites. Would stay again. Staff were friendly.||Only issue is the room designer must be very tall. The distance of the sink and the height of the toilet is a bit strange. And i'm not short.

The hotel is located next to building site, it didn't affect us as we were there at the weekend. You can walk to the center in around 30 minutes. Lots of coffee shops around. If you like somewhere a bit out of the tourist area, this will suit you.Room is good and clean, pillows not great but minor, love the policy of rewarding guests point instead of housekeeping service. Environmental friendly and win win situation. Check in & out is smooth. Breakfast is adequate. Please be aware they have coach tour staying, so breakfast time can be busy but we managed to find a table without problem.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The staff kindly checked our bags since we arrived at 8 am. We were able to have breakfast there and then go to the castle, when we returned we checked in. Room was small but clean. …

Great location and great room. Requested connecting rooms which we received. Rooms were clean and spacious. The a/c worked like a charm and there were plenty of options for plugging in adapters or using provided usb ports. …

The hotel location was good for hopping on/off public transportation to get around the city. The morning breakfast options were tasty and plentiful. The front desk staff were... efficient. Despite requesting a high floor and king bed in our profile, we were placed in a room on the 2nd floor with a view of a construction site. The front desk clerk would not honor our request for a different room, so we did not feel like appreciated Diamond Hilton Honors members. Our rooms were clean, but a little shabby with frayed curtains and some carpet stains. All in all, they were perfectly adequate for resting and cleaning up after our full days of taking in the sights of delights of beautiful Edinburgh

Outstanding Service from a Dedicated Manager (Scott)During my recent stay at Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End, I was incredibly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the manager, Scott. His professionalism and dedication truly made our visit memorable. From the moment we arrived, Scott was extremely helpful. He advised us on the best places to visit in Edinburgh and patiently answered all of our questions, ensuring we had all the information we needed for an enjoyable stay. What really stood out was his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for us. Despite the hotel not having a porter service, he personally assisted with my dad's luggage to his room, which was especially important given my dad's disability. This level of care and attention is rare and deeply appreciated.Thank you, Scott, for making our stay at the hotel so wonderful. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for your exceptional service.

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights at Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh back in March 24.|Rooms: The rooms were reasonably spacious, given the fact that all 3 of us occupied one room by ourselves & we didn't have large luggages. …

We stayed in the queen room with the pullout couch. The room was very nice! Shower pressure was good and the room was clean and fit the 3 of us well. A bit tight with out bags but not bad. Breakfast was included and very good. Lots of options and the service was good too. Parking is around back and a bit tight but works well.
