BEST stay we had on our whole trip! Absolutely loved it and will most definitely be back. Janey makes you feel as if you are visiting a relative with her hospitality and kindness. The place is spotless, amazing views and the breakfast is just perfection. We fell in love with Beach cottage and the hosts (Janey and her dog Monty) and cannot wait to return.Almost did not want to write this as not to share this little gem with others :)

My husband and I visited Beach Cottage May bank holiday weekend, Janey the proprietor couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable. The location was idyllic, with a spectacular view of the Moray Firth from our bedroom. The bedroom and en-suite were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was truly lovely with lots of choice and the Scottish breakfast was cooked perfectly. Janey took time to make us feel at home with her conversation and knowledge of the local area. Nothing was too much trouble. If the tides are right you can see Bottlenose Dolphins and seals from the shore just outside your room. We throughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return very soon . 10/10Kim and Kevin Nelson (Derby ,England )

We stayed here in mid July, we were in the Beauly room. The room was located on the second floor, it was very clean and compact (note the bathroom in this room was very very small, if you are over 6ft tall you will have a difficult time in shower.) The room did have a nice view of the Moray Firth and there was a nice patio on the ground level to sit on in the evening to watch the sun set. Breakfast was outstanding, traditional Scottish breakfast but the host can customize it to your liking. Due to the rural nature of the location the internet is not the fastest, if wifi is is important to you you may want to consider that. Overall we had a very nice stay in this Scottish B&B.

Beach Cottage was the best B&B we visited during our holiday in the UK. The room and the bathroom were very clean and had everything we could need. The cottage is very old but the decor and furniture are modern and contemporary. It is very close to the sea and we were lucky to be able to photograph seals from the garden. The owner was very helpful and gave us good information on where to eat and places to visit. Will recommend to our friends and family.

Janey is the best host and makes a gorgeous breakfast. We will be back! Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Will and Fiona xxx

We just spent two wonderful days at Beach Cottage and were so lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny. The room was extremely clean and well equipped but the best part was the amazing view of the sea from the large windows. Thank you Brad for a perfect stay.

We left at 5 am. Room was very clean; modern decor however host was very rude. Pounded on our door at 4 am to close the window. Beach Cottage B&B is advertised as beautiful view; open windows; large windows that open over the water; however there are lots of "NOs" that come with the room. Walk Quietly; no food; no drinks; no open windows to listen to the ocean and if you break any of the rules the host pounds on your door in the middle of the night. We didn't stay for breakfast; we felt imprisoned and left in the middle of the night! We made a SPECIAL stop in Inverness all the way from the U.S. specifically for this experience and paid 40 pounds round trip cab to stay. What a disappointment.
