I am amazed to have received such a treatment. Everyone in Student Village is so so so friendly and always there to help. They are super kind and guide you with any issues that you might have during your stay. I moved in to the apartment too soon but yeah they helped me with almost that I needed to know. I've never received such a welcome and treatment at any good hotels or anywhere I can say. Newport Student Village is a home away from home. I am really excited and waiting for the events they plan and they are so frequent.. I don't remember the staff member names but yeah I have bothered almost everyone with tons of questions and they are always there. :)

Excellent value for money for a cheap 2 night stay. Good location & secure. Only downside is no on-site parking albeit it is advertised on website. Paid parking is available on ASDA's site nearby through just park but you have to negotiate crossing a dual carriageway and for some people with mobility challenges it may not be so easy. That is why 1 star is deducted.

Simply said, if I were a student I wouldn’t be disappointed to have this as my digs!The room was clean and tidy and in very good decorative order. The bed, a double, was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. There was plenty of desk space and desk chair if you were in need of a work space. The bathroom again was clean and tidy and the shower was good. The bathroom itself was a wet room type and had all you needed.The concierge staff were professional and knowledgeable and the location itself wasn’t too far from most things. What was a nice touch was a free taxi calling facility which was available at reception. When the taxi turned up the taxi phone ‘beeped’ to let you know the taxi was outside.As for the price, no complaints; very good value for money. Would certainly use again.

Ostensibly, a great place to stay short term when the student accommodation complex operates like a hotel and offers rooms to all types of paying guests. However, Endeavour House is poorly managed, with inadequate staff, so that customer service is stretched beyond its limited capacity and capabilities, and attention to health and safety standards is lacking, including faulty door locks, unmarked high step in and out of the bathroom, overheating and supplied fan not working, poor cleaning detail, etc. All of this belies one’s first impression of a good location (although on a very busy dual carriageway with no pedestrian crossing) and large, well-equipped communal areas. Overall, not a favourable hotel experience, and I certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
