Very comfy bed and pillows. Very clean room and bathroom. Thick towels and great water pressure for bath and shower. Reception staff were friendly and efficient with good local knowledge. …

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!It will be easier for me to list the issues along with images.1. Air Vent – The air vent was filled with an alarming amount of dust, far beyond what could be explained by just a few weeks of neglect. It looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months.2. Basin – There were visible strands of hair around the basin. It was revolting and immediately made us question the overall hygiene of the room.3. Bathroom Corner Behind Bin – Covered in dust. This level of neglect made us feel utterly uncomfortable.4. Bed – A tear in the duvet cover was bad enough, but the bed itself had far worse issues:o Bloodstain 1 – A visible drop of blood on the mattress protector.o Bloodstain 2 – Another stain, which was even more distressing. How could this have been missed during cleaning?o Yellow Stain – I dread to think what this was. It's completely inexcusable.5. Carpet – The edges of the carpet were filthy, filled with dust, as if the room hadn’t seen a vacuum in weeks.6. Headboard – Dust was visibly accumulated on the headboard, adding to the feeling of neglect.7. Kettle – The kettle was so dirty that we didn’t even want to use it. We ended up going to the McDonald’s next door for coffee the next morning.8. Kettle Tray – Finding hair in the kettle tray was yet another disturbing sign of how poorly the room had been cleaned.9. Lamp – Dust was thickly layered across the lampshade. Again, another clear indication that proper cleaning procedures were not followed.10. Room Thermostat – The thermostat didn’t work, but considering the state of the air vent, I’m relieved, as I wouldn't have wanted to breathe in air circulating from such a filthy source.11. Table in the Room – There was an unidentifiable substance on the table, which only added to our disgust.12. Shower – The shower area was an absolute disgrace. From dust to mould, hair, and rust, the condition of this bathroom was simply appalling. I can’t even bring myself to comment on the hard water deposits or rust.13. Toilet – I’ll let the photos I have speak for themselves, but needless to say, this was yet another area of deep concern.

From the outside the hotel doesn't look too great, but on entering it was immediately apparent, with a welcoming smile, that everything is catered for. The room was clean and quiet and everything worked. …

The room and hotel itself is fine, what you would expect from a premier inn, but upon arrival after a flight at midnight, the receptionist said there was £23 outstanding to be paid for the room which made no sense as I had fully paid for …

Great location. Took a bus into Edinburgh which was easy and affordable from the hotel. Clean room. Comfy bed. Slept very well. (Have ordered the premier inn bed!) Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Just what we expected from Premier Inn. Always our first choice stay depending on price.

Convenient location, twenty minutes drive from city centre. Check in experience was poor, stood waiting for several minutes while the receptionist was doing something on the computer.Room was well worn as were communal areas, but bathroom was clean, as was bed. Bed was comfy and had a decent nights sleep.Parking was limited later in the evening, and be careful not to park in McDonalds as this has a three hour waiting limit.

Friendly people, spacious room, nice breakfast. But also right on a busy road and ‘on’ the car park of the Mc Donalds. Quite a lot of litter and maintenance inside and outside could be better.

Well located very close to the Forth road bridge and much cheaper than staying in Edinburgh itself which is very expensive these days.Room was fine but warm for me and bed a bit firm but that's personal choice. There was an odd odour from the bathroom when I first arrived which was odd because it was spotlessly clean.Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really well cooked. Definitely stay again
