Lovely comfy hotel in a beautiful often missed corner is Skye, literally two minutes from the ferry. Rooms were comfortable, ours had stunning views across the sea to the mainland. Food good with a wide variety and changing specials including seafood. The venison fillet special was declared the best ever!

Had an evening meal - as we weren't staying in the hotel, we booked ahead to be sure. Food was great, staff were really nice. Enjoyed playing a board game with the kids alongside our fish & chips.

Had a lovely meal at this pub tonight. The view was gorgeous, but what really stood out was the customer service. The waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome!

We didn't sleep here, because the hotel was fully booked. But the staff was so sweet, gave us some water and we could leave our backpacks at the reception while we went to their bar to eat and drink something while we were searching for another place to stay. Thanks for the warm welcome, staff! 😍

After a long day around the Isle of Skye, we thought, given the time and the remote places we were in, we would fast.  …

Great setting, just down the road from our B&B. We had a drink first, then a meal. The food was good, though not many veggie choices if you don't eat mushrooms. The cheeseboard was gorgeous, though could have done with some chutney or relish. Nice atmosphere and staff.

Spent afternoon outside the bar as it was a lovely day. Later invited next door to the restaurant. Busy with leisurely service which suited. Food was very good across the board. However, the sticky toffee pudding - wow! Bike ride up the hill wasn't easy afterwards!

Spent a night at the Inn on a family train/ferry tour of the Scottish Highlands in October. Our group stayed in a double room and the family room, which has a large double bed and a bunk bed. We arrived on the ferry at Armadale from Mallaig, and walked up to the Inn, which took about 12 minutes. The rooms were reasonably spacious and well equipped. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were a bit flat for some of us. Tea and coffee is provided in the rooms. We did not have sea view rooms, and the family room was a little bit noisy until the bar had closed up at around 10 pm. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which has a fairly limited menu, but the food was delicious and very well prepared. The breakfast was also lovely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this as a place to stay over in Armadale/ Ardvasar.

We booked here having changed our touring plans at the last minute. So we were pleased to get a room but disappointed. …

Arrived at the hotel from Elgol for dinner - was seated at a table - then asked our name - “oh you,re not staying here” - the waitress said - to which we replied no. …
