Stayed there while workjng in the area. Excellent value for money. Only breakfast available at weekends and very limited. I found myself wandering around Aberystwyth at 7am looking for breakfast. Only Greggs open at that time !

No fans, rooms were very noisy and some noisy tenants were causing disturbance. Housekeeping was good, nice staff. Could've been better if my room choice was available overlooking seafront. Aberystwyth is a beautiful place.

Great self-catered hotel with complete communal kitchen with microwave and stoves”. Great room with sea view. Every noise from food steps etc., can be heard. Be sure to tread lightly. Got woken up by a few times at night by other guests.

A strange mix of shabby and well-kept. On the one hand there were holes in the carpet and plaster, yet the paintwork, bed and shower were very new. Everything was very clean. I'd have been disappointed if I booked it for a holiday, but for a one night work trip it was satisfactory.

Lovely view, blinds were broken which meant the room was too light. Didn't have breakfast as I think it was mackerel on the menu, which as personal preference don't want for breakfast. But plenty of places to get breakfast near by. When we was leaving I noticed lots of hairs(dog and human) in between the duvet cover and bed runner. The rest of the room was clean but needs more attention. If the blinds and cleanness improved I would return as the staff were friendly and the room was nice.

Very budget friendly, clean and basic but very much enjoyed it. The receptionist/manager Marlena was everything you'd expect and more. Very friendly and very happy if only ALL hotels and guesthouses had a Marlena. She truly is an asset to the place. The only reason haven't given it 5 stars was that the bed was really hard - perhaps a question of preference but nonetheless really glad we stayed here with a seaview. Wonderful!

On initial inspection it was good. Towels, individual toiletries and a good range of tea, coffee etc. was nice.
However, in the room (R3 rear facing), the mirror was only attached to the wall with 2 screws, the blinds had no cords to open and close them properly (I had to pull them across to close them, running the risk of pulling them down) and the walls and ceilings transmit noise very well. Doors don't seem to shut as crash close.
We didn't have the breakfast as this was £7 pp on top of the £88 we paid for the room. We went to one of the local cafes and got more for less.
A bit of a disappointment really.
