My wife and I had our wedding here and we cannot rate the Faenol Fawr highly enough. If I could score more than five stars, I would. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is divine and the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. What really makes the Faenol Fawr so special is the staff. There was not a single member of staff who me or my guests didn't have a positive interaction with. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and there was not a single thing that was too much to ask for them. Some of the staff even took the bobbles out of their hair to help pin my wife's dress up so she could dance! I cannot speak more highly of Jonathan, Lilli and Katie all of whom went above and beyond to make our wedding special and memorable. I could not have asked more of them. The prices are completely reasonable to host a wedding and the family run vibe suited us perfectly. All of our guests were very complementary of the venue and their stay. The breakfast was a well needed recovery for many after our party the night before.

To find staff when you go looking is a bit of a challenge on many occasions,When you leave home you don’t expect to be sweeping, dusting, mopping, , making bed, walking across parking lots to get clean towels,.We asked and are here 12 day and got our bed mad 1 time so far, I am on holiday from Canada!! No holiday for me when I still have to do all my home chores! My granddaughter dropped her phone behind the bed and it was so gross to fish it out.. it’s not been vacuumed for maybe 2 years!Really!! No excuses for this !

Have visited several times, mainly for work. The staff are always really helpful. Food and drinks have been really good. I do find the bar area a bit chilly at times. The grounds are so nice with peacocks just wandering about 😁

Lovely place, bar/restaurant hours are such that they may as well not even open, but idyllic nonetheless.|I would recommend it as a B&B.|Staff were very helpful though, and the pool & gym are perfect. |Nothing within walking distance which doesn’t help matters

Attended a training course here recently. The upstairs room was a bit chilly but it’s an old building so costly to heat I expect. Didn’t spoil the day at all though.Lovely building, warm cozy lounge area downstairs, set around a fire and the bar area looked welcoming. Had a look at the spa treatment menu, very reasonably priced, sadly I didn’t have time but I’d visit again given the opportunity. Staff helpful and pleasant.
